Outlook Express

1.  Double Click on your Outlook Express icon. (It will probably try and connect, just cancel dialer, you don't have to be connected.)

2.  Once Outlook Express is opened click on TOOLS on the top.  From TOOLS go down and click ACCOUNTS.  Now in Internet Accounts window click the MAIL tab at the top.

3.  Internet Accounts.  Highlight and delete any old email accounts in the box.

4.  Now go to the right of there and select the ADD button.  A little box will come out with some options. Click on the option called MAIL.  A Wizard will pop up and ask you for your name.  You should type your name just like the example "John Smith".

5.  Then click NEXT.  The wizard will then ask you for your email.  Type your email address and remember to use all lower case lettering.

6.  Then click NEXT. Now this part asks what kind of email account you have. Spinn.Net is a POP3 account.  Your incoming mail server is mail.spinn.net and your outgoing mail server is smtp.spinn.net and remember to use all lower case lettering.

7.  Click NEXT. You will see your username and a place for your password.  If you put your password there it will automatically get your email for you but if you do not put your password there then it will ask you to manually implement your password every time you get your email.

8.  Click NEXT.  It will now ask you to give the account a friendly name. (my family's mail, etc).  Now it usually it wants you to state what kind of connection you will make. And you should click in the option labeled "I will establish my internet connection manually".

9.  Click NEXT.

10. Click FINISH.
