Newsgroups

There are more than 35,000 of these newsgroups and each one discusses a different topic. Some topics are quite broad, while others are incredibly specific and narrow. Once you find a group that interests you, you can write an "article" (basically, an email message) addressed to the group, which is "posted" for everyone to read. People in the group can then reply to your message either by sending you a private email, or by posting a response for everyone to see. Usenet is a tremendous resource for getting answers to questions about virtually any subject. Just post a question, and another user is likely to answer it.
